Kowloon
Kowloon City
Kowloon City is known for its food: an old, dense neighbourhood of local cafes, restaurants and markets, close to Kowloon Walled City Park and the newer Kai Tak Sports Park. Our rooms here are in one building. It’s quiet, about ten minutes’ walk from Sung Wong Toi station, and well served by buses. Furnished private rooms are listed below, from HK$6,900 a month.
The building and the studios
Fourteen private rooms are currently listed across three floors, single or double beds, 90 to 250 sq ft. These are private rooms rather than full studios, so check the individual listing for the exact configuration. Every room is furnished and has its own kitchenette, TV, fridge, kettle, microwave, hairdryer, air conditioning and wifi. Weekly cleaning and a linen change are included. Laundry pick-up and drop-off is not available in this building.
The neighbourhood
The rooms are on Fuk Lo Tsun Road, in a walk-up. The streets around it are old Kowloon City, with newer development going up alongside. Markets, supermarkets and everyday shops are a few minutes away on foot, and the buses reach the rest of Hong Kong.
Rent is billed monthly, from HK$6,900 for a private room. Sung Wong Toi station on the Tuen Ma Line is about a ten minute walk, and the neighbourhood is served by bus routes.
Included in every room: furniture, kitchenette, TV, fridge, kettle, microwave, hairdryer, air conditioning, wifi, weekly cleaning and linen-change. Laundry pick-up/drop-off is not available.
