The Central Pier area is no stranger to picnic-goers and late-night joggers. On the weekends, Tamar Park can be pretty packed, but luckily for your furr-ocious pups, there are designated dog parks for them to roam freely away from the hoomans. The promenade stretches all the way from Central through Kennedy Town, so lace up for a slow jog with your pet for some quality bonding time.

Butterfly Valley Road Pet Garden

Take your frisky puppy to Butterfly Valley for some quality playtime. Made especially for your four-legged friends, this pet garden is located in one of the lesser-knowned neighbourhoods, Lai Chi Kok. With basic amenities like water fountains, collection bins and playground equipment, the park will definitely leave your doggies satisfied.

Enjoy a relaxing weekend picnic next to the sea while your doggies unleash their energy in the wide expanse of green.

Victoria Peak Garden

For a classy park hangout, journey to the Victoria Peak Garden. It may not be the most accessible spot but it sure is secluded. Follow the walk upslope near The Peak Galleria and you will soon be taken to this Victorian-style backyard, where you can set down your picnic baskets and enjoy a warm afternoon beneath the lush greenery and elegant pavilions. If your pup still has some energy to spare, stroll along the Peak Circular Walk and brace yourself as you take in the panoramic views of Central.
